**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic **Purchasing Manager** who can successfully manage processes and systems to ensure inventory and stock are available to meet productivity targets.

Based at the Moruya facility and reporting to the Managing Director, this role will involve, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
**Supplier Management**
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
- Stay updated on market trends and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.

**Inventory Management**
- Ensure accurate inventory levels, manage stock control and conduct regular stock audits.

**Bill of Materials**
- Work in conjunction with Design Engineer and Production Managers to ensure the accuracy of the Bill of Materials reflects the actual components and quantities used in production.
- Ensure that departments are provided with accurate Build Sheets in a timely manner.
- Ensure that any changes to the Build Sheets are provided to departments to be implemented as soon as they are required.

**About You**
To be considered for the role you will be an experienced **Purchasing Manager**with:

- Proven ability to manage and improve competitive cost savings, supplier cost variances, stock cost reductions, supplier performance, and defect rates.
- Accurate recording of variance between recorded and actual inventory levels to be kept at 90% accuracy.
- Frequency of stockouts for items in inventory to be no higher at 10%.
- Percentage variance of BOM’s to actual components and quantities used goal 10% difference.
- Change notification to BOM’s to be completed within 5 days in consultation with Design and Production departments.
