**Job Description**:
Do you want to work in a luxury 5-star hospitality environment with the largest conferencing operation in Brisbane? Sofitel Brisbane Central is looking for the next generation of luxury service professionals, and training will be provided

Success in the following roles is the ability to learn quickly and the desire to provide phenomenal service to our guests whilst working well with others as an all-rounder and team player. Perfectly suited to those who have a basic level of food and beverage service skills and are eager to learn from on-the-job training.

A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, positive attitude, immaculate personal presentation and the ability to say “Bonjour” with a smile is a must.

The role:
We currently have two types of roles available:
Food and Beverage Attendant (Casual)

This is a flexible role where you work on a casual basis although you must have three days of availability each week, including Fridays and Saturdays.

Overnight Events Attendant (Casual)

In this role, you will be mainly working on packing down of function rooms and setting up of event spaces working overnight shifts. This role requires availability to work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 6am.

**Qualifications**:
Key requirements are:

- Work with your team to set conference rooms promptly and accurately to the specifications described on the function sheets
- Ensure client expectations are met, delivering food and beverage service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
- Take responsibility for your designated rooms or sections during service
- Ensure all food and beverages requirements are delivered on time and as specified.
- Previous experience as a bartender, barista or waiter is highly preferred
- Physical capability to move heavy items as needed and practice safe manual handling at all times (ability to lift up to 20kg safely)
- Basic level of food and beverage service skills including greeting guests, taking orders, cleaning and clearing
- Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification is a must
- A high level of personal presentation, aligning with our brand standard
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and also in a team.
