**What You Will Be Doing**

The Brief Intervention Team is for consumers who have received a comprehensive mental health assessment, and for whom it is planned to discharge back to their general practitioner, community support services or PARC facility.
The Brief Intervention Clinician conducts face-to face reviews, engages with carers and family and plans and initiates collaborative care planning with internal and external mental health service providers. The Clinician works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration. RPN: Post graduate qualification in Mental Health or specialist undergraduate Mental Health program
- Extensive experience in the mental health field including acute in-patient services and/or community mental health care.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014, the National Standards for Mental Health Services 2010, the National Standards for the Mental Health Workforce 2002 and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards including EQuIP.
