Maintenance Fitter | $94,500 + Super | Day Shift | On-Site Parking | Alexandria Location

This leading têxtile rental company has a strong presence in many Australian industries - including hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare and mining. Their Alexandria site is looking for a new maintenance fitter to join their team on a permanent day shift at their cleaning material production facility. This company has many successful branches across all states of Australia and throughout Australasia, giving great opportunities for the future.

**Your new role**
As a Maintenance Fitter/Technician you are part of the Engineering team at the branch. The role will provide support to the Production team by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the installation of new plant and equipment.
You will also be performing:

- Start Up and Shut Down of plant equipment
- Preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
- Equipment Training, coaching and support to Engineering team members
- Managing Spare Parts
- Conducting Risk Assessments

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Relevant trade qualifications as a Fitter
- 2+ years relevant Industry experience, Food and Manufacturing is desirable
- Boiler Ticket; Desirable
- Forklift ticket is advantageous
- A demonstrated commitment to safety
- A willingness to work in all areas / types of maintenance is a necessity
- Problem solving / fault finding skills
