**ABOUT THE ROLE**

KIDZSPOT Dilga is looking for a cleaner/kitchen assistant to join our Centre as a key support worker to assist in the running of daily routines. Our Centre is a 27 place childcare service that caters only for babies and junior toddlers between the ages of 6 weeks to 3 years.

**Duties include**:

- Preparation and service of lunch, afternoon tea and late snacks to children (no cooking involved)
- Receive and store food and supplies
- Wash and pack away dishes
- Clean dining areas after meals
- Undertake daily cleaning of all common areas
- Prepare bottles and formulas for feeding time
- Assist with rest time preparations
- Conduct stocktake of supplies
- Ensure impeccable hygiene, order and cleanliness of all common areas

**About you**:
You do not need any industry related experience but you do need to be an efficient and effective worker who is reliable, works well in a team and has a genuine interest in caring for children.

You will also need a:

- Safe Food Handling Certificate (or be prepared to obtain one through KIDZSPOT)
- Current Working with Children Check, and
- National Police Clearance Check
