What you will be doing
- Represent the department, as appropriate, at industry/stakeholders' events, meetings and working groups in an effective and professional manner
- Actively contribute to fostering a multi-disciplinary team environment and positive culture, where team members enjoy coming to work, are appropriately skilled and challenged, and understand the contributions their role plays in the success of business outcomes
What we are looking for
- Someone who prioritises projects and tasks efficiently in line with team commitments and recognises issues that impact on the work of the team
- Someone who has proven experience in analysing planning, housing and demographic data, can extract insights and findings, and produce sound research reports for planning policy and decision making
- Takes the initiative to collaborate with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and expertise. Welcomes challenges in the delivery of work and demonstrates persistence in working through obstacles
- Actively seeks regular feedback and modifies approach to enhance own effectiveness. Analyses information to proactively identify risks to the team's planned activities. Spatial analysis, ArcGIS, and FME experience would be advantageous
