**About the company**:
Working with one of Australia's largest insurance repair specialists who have just undertaken a significant merger within the industry, we are now seeking a experienced Building Supervisor to join this rapidly expanding team in Brisbane Regions within the Major and Complex Loss team.

**Duties & Requirements**:

- Manage the end-to-end repair experience for major and complex loss jobs
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs to ensure an acceptable profitable margin
- Deliver first class customer service
- Grow and maintain client relationships in the major and complex loss market
- Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks ensuring all OHS requirements are met
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
- Assist with new starter training if necessary

**Requirements**:

- Trade qualified (preferably carpentry)
- Construction Management Degree/Qualification in Building & Construction/Builder’s Registration
- Proven experience in facilitating major and complex loss events within Insurance Building Industry
- A working knowledge and understanding of construction related OH&S legislation and WHS requirements Excellent communication skills Competent computer skills and an ability to rapidly learn new systems
- A proactive nature and to work with a highly successful, KPI driven team
- A strong commitment to safety
