We are looking for leaders who are both early birds and night owls. Our business trades 7 days a week, hours of work could range from 4am to 10pm, including 1 full weekend a fortnight.
Forklift operation is part of this role. A current forklift license is not required but a willingness to obtain one is essential.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Managing and supporting the day-to-day operations, activities and co-workers of the inbound team including rostering, breaks, and ensuring KPIs are communicated and achieved throughout the team.
- Planning, organising and monitoring the logistics operations, ensuring co-workers are aware of their responsibilities and processes are complete every morning in time for the store to open.
- Lead a safe and efficient operation to secure that all stock is in the right place at the right time.
- Support your manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development of the team.
- Empowering your team of co-workers by delegating responsibility to help each person grow and develop, according to their individual ability and experience.
Together as a team
Leading your team and working closely with other commercial partners you will strive to improve our stock flow process. You will develop, implement and execute plans to deliver on our agreed business goals, following up to measure performance that leads to reduced costs and an improved customer and co-worker experience. You will need to “make it happen” with simplicity, speed and flexibility as you use your finely tuned interpersonal skills to ensure key relationships are built and maintained in a dynamic and fast paced and rapidly changing working environment.
Additional Information
This role is permanent full time, 76 hours per/fortnight.
