Davidson Technology are on the search for a Data Analyst to take on a fantastic 12-month contract position in Melbourne.

Working on a hybrid model, you will have flexible workdays in and out of the office (usually 3/2 split) with the office in a central Melbourne location.

**About the Role**

The main responsibility of this role is to design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the data analytics infrastructure.

With the specialist knowledge in this area, the role will provide thought leadership to mature the thinking of the team as whole across a range of matters including data model design and leveraging the possibilities from an Azure based environment.

This includes:

- Design, development, implementation and maintenance of analytical tools and solutions (E.g. Power BI). This includes a range of administration tasks (E.g. Adding, maintaining and removing user accounts).
- Design, maintain and enhance insights, reports analysis and dashboards that support the needs of the organisation.

**The skills we need**:

- Well-developed knowledge and skills in data analytics
- Extensive demonstrated experience of working in relational databases.
- Ability to program in SQL is essential and R and Python would be an advantage.
- Well-developed knowledge and skills in understanding, designing, and implementing new reports and dashboards that support analytical reporting.
- Well-developed communication skills, written and oral.
- Highly developed knowledge and skills in designing and developing reports in analytical reporting tools, preferably Power BI
- Have experience with ETL activities.
- experience with D365 Data streams would be highly regarded.
