Optical Worker

Our Auckland Laboratory (located in Henderson) is currently seeking an Optical Worker to join our multi-skilled manufacturing team, and deliver our mission of improving lives by improving sight.
With a total focus on providing our customers with the best possible experience we are looking for a confident and dedicated person who is committed to producing quality products - first time, every time. Our teams work efficiently and collaboratively to produce quality products and deliver to a high level of customer and consumer satisfaction.
You will need to be an excellent team player, have strong personal motivation along with an enthusiastic attitude and excellent communication skills. Our Optical Fitting lab team work across the lab, and during the day may focus on tasks such as:

- Marking up and blocking optical lenses
- Edging of optical lenses
- Fitting variety of lens types such as rimless, nylon, shell and metal frames
- Tinting
- Final quality checking of completed fitting jobs.
- Pre Quality Control and tracing a variety of frame types
