Days/ Hours:
This is a full-time role with a rotating schedule to align with the family’s changing work rosters. While some flexibility is essential, here’s a rough idea of what to expect:

- Two out of every three weeks: 7:20am - 4:35pm (Monday to Friday)
- One week out of three: 9:30am - 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- Looking for a long term commitment of 12 months-2 years

About the Family:
This professional family has two young children—a 3.5-year-old boy and a 10-month-old girl. Both parents work full-time and enjoy family activities like neighbourhood walks, playground visits, drawing, crafting, cooking, and baking. Their son is active, social, and thrives on stimulation. He enjoys scootering, biking, climbing, jumping, drawing, crafting, reading, and joining in with everyday tasks like cooking, baking, cleaning, and laundry. He no longer naps but has quiet time each day.Their daughter is a cheerful and curious baby who is now crawling and loves exploring her surroundings. The family practices gentle parenting with firm boundaries and uses positive reinforcement as their main approach to behaviour guidance.

What we are looking for:
Our ideal nanny is patient, highly organised, and confident caring for two children at very different developmental stages. The family value open and honest communication, a collaborative approach, and someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children. The right person will be able to keep up with oldest child's energy and interests, while also providing attentive, age-appropriate care for the youngest. A background or interest in early childhood education or development would be highly regarded, as would a strong understanding of gentle parenting principles with firm, respectful boundaries.

**Tasks**:
Sole care of both children:

- Maintain daily routines, including sleep schedules (youngest child only) and down time
- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities and local outings for both children (e.g. outdoor play, crafts, messy play, sensory play, imagination play, baking, reading, library rhyme times, park plays)
- Transporting children to local activities in own vehicle
- Creating opportunity for play based learning

General household duties:

- Keep general household areas tidy, performing light housekeeping as needed - children’s bedrooms, common spaces, play areas and tidy up after meals
- Family Laundry Assistance - including clothing and linen
- Stacking and unstacking the dishwasher
- Assist with meal planning and preparation - 3 x Hello Fresh meals per week, plus 2 x simple meals - e.g. tossing together a salad to go with a pre-made lasagne
- Purchase groceries top ups & household supplies as needed within budget, tracking expenses & receipts

Transport:
Licence required and nanny to use own vehicle with vehicle allowance provided.

Must have:

- Blue card or Police Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- 2 x Reference checks
- Own vehicle
- Commitment of 12 months to 2 years
- Open Drivers licence

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
