Room Leader

We are looking for an experienced Certificate 3, Diploma or Degree qualified Room Leader to lead a room within our purpose-built Nursery centre. There is the potential of stepping into the Assistant Director role also.

**Your new role **
- Overseeing the smooth operations of the room,
- Providing strong leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment,
- Developing and implementing engaging educational programs that align with the centre's philosophy and the needs of the children,
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, the local community and other stakeholders

**Requirements..**
- An educator who values play-based learning and applies this to their teaching and pedagogies with children
- Extensive experience (2+ years) in an Early Education leadership role,
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team,
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulatory requirements, best practice in ECE,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community,
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children,
- Valid Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA approved Certificate 3, Diploma or Degree qualification in Early Childhood Education,
- Safe food Handling course,
- First Aid and Child Protection

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
