**The Role**
As a Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) Site Coordinator, you will report to the Assistant Director and work closely and collaboratively with the Western Australian State Manager and Director. The position works within the State Office team to manage and deliver site-specific property and accommodation services across the state office as well as providing information technology support and corporate/governance functions. This is an office-based role.

The role is an integral member of team, responsible for supporting DEWR’s location-agnostic staff, ensuring the smooth operation of site services, and contributing to the implementation of work, health and safety and emergency management plans.

Your role will involve coordinating local accommodation plans, managing site equipment and assets, and supporting the onboarding and offboarding of staff. You will also be responsible for organising site activities that promote a positive workplace culture and reinforcing corporate messages within the office.

This position requires a proactive and organised individual capable of collaborating with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to resolve issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of site operations.

You will assist the National Site Coordinator with site coordination policy development, and provide input to emergency management, business continuity planning, risk assessment and contribute to DEWR’s Future Ways of Working policies.

An important part of the role will be a focus on promoting Team DEWR culture at the site. You will organise local activities that foster a positive DEWR workplace culture such as diversity events, social club to ensure inclusion of all locations agnostic staff. You will reinforce corporate messages on a state/territory basis. Provide local support and mentoring as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
The key duties of the position include:

- Collaborate and liaise with internal teams such as Property, IT, and Finance, to ensure the efficient resolution of site-related issues and maintain a positive working environment. This may include supporting IT functions such as laptop imaging, desk set-ups etc.
- Provide input to and support the development and implementation of WHS policies, emergency management plans, business continuity plans ensuring compliance and safety at the site.
- Promote an inclusive and respectful workplace by recognising and valuing diversity within the team. Organise and support local activities that foster a positive workplace culture, including diversity events and social activities, and reinforce DEWRs corporate messages.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of site-specific corporate, property and accommodation services, addressing issues as they arise. Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, including workstation allocation, equipment management, and building pass administration.
- Assist in monitoring site operations, provide regular updates and reports to the Assistant Director and National site coordinator. Work collaboratively with the State Manager to communicate across the site, escalate key challenges and develop solution-focussed strategies.
- Providing corporate and governance support to the Executive team such as Secretariat functions as required, preparation of documents, coordination of meetings, escorting of external personnel etc.

**Qualifications and Education**
- Driver’s License is essential
