The business is a large-scale comprehensive enterprise group integrating real estate development, property management, financial investment, cultural tourism, health care and the nursery industry. The corporate group currently operates its business activities in China, Hong Kong, Canada and Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead and oversee all construction activities for our Australian projects. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in delivering large-scale developments on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide overall direction and management for all construction projects
- Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with company objectives
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality specifications
- Lead and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and construction teams
- Serve as primary liaison between developers, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Manage relationships with government authorities, consultants, and suppliers
- Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting
- Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Negotiate and administer major contracts and subcontracts
- Establish and enforce construction methodologies, safety protocols, and QA/QC programs
- Drive innovation in construction techniques and sustainable building practices
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices
- Contribute to project feasibility studies and business case development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years in construction management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPPM, MBA, RPEQ)
- Expert knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations
- Strong financial acumen and contract management skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, Procore, etc.)
