As the Assistant Production Manager, you will report to the Production Manager. You will be responsible for providing support to the day-to-day production operations whilst implementing changes and identifying opportunities for improvements and innovation. **About the Role**:
As the Assistant Production Manager, you will report to the Production Manager. You will be responsible for providing support to the day-to-day production operations whilst implementing changes and identifying opportunities for improvements and innovation.

In this position you would find yourself executing production plans, Leading a team of production supervisors and their teams, continuous improvement with a focus on quality and efficiencies and developing the team.
In this role a key success factor will be the ability to maintain and develop a cohesive, connected and high-performing team.

**Key Responsibilities;**
- Workforce planning.
- Recruit, train and develop a production team.
- Rostering to meet production requirements.
- Oversee day to day production to ensure optimal production quality and maximum profit for the organisation.
- Estimate, negotiate and agree budgets and timescales.

**Key Requirements;**
- Certificate IV in Food processing and Certificate IV in Frontline Management - OR Comparable industry experience.
- Previous experience in leading teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience in implementing quality control procedures.
- Demonstrates ability to improve safety, quality and customer service levels.
- Uses effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
