Our client has been a wholesaler and distributor of quality the manufacturing of sausages, cured meats, smoked meats, canned meats, and other meat specialties. This role is for a Permanent Day Shift Full-Time Warehouse Storeperson position - this role will be for a 6am to 3pm. Key Responsibilities
- Counter-balance Forklift Driving to assist with loading and unloading trucks when required for inward and outwards goods
- Picking & Shipping Sausages, Cured Meats, Canned Meats and various other meats within 24 hours of receiving - picks will be done via Paperslips and RF Scanners
- Working in and out of Cold Storage and Dry Storage environments
- Receiving - Unloading of containers and receipting of orders when required
- Replenishment - Assist with the replenishment of stock in pick bays
- Use of Computer - Connote creation and manifest creation via freight platform

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Forklift License
- Pick/Packing
- Invoicing and dispatching
- Sound knowledge of warehouse distribution activities
- Experience working in food environments - preferred but not essential
- Experience working in cold storage - preferred but not essential
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral
- Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines
- Sound knowledge of computer systems
