As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution and control of your own Warrikal site projects, delivering end to end project management, whilst ensuring projects run safely, profitably and overall success. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to step up to manage larger projects

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Our Project Team’s skill and expertise underpin Warrikals’ enviable track record in mining infrastructure project delivery. As part of the Projects Team, the Project Lead will be responsible for organising and coordinating small to medium sized brownfield and greenfield projects from start to finish, through all phases of the project lifecycle in a 50/50 site and Perth based role.

The key aspects include:

- Managing project budget, scope of works and project execution to ensure project compliance
- Reading and understanding scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings
- Preparing and executing technical queries to all clients as and when required
- Interpreting drawings and understanding detailed scopes of work, ensuring detail reflects in pricing and project execution
- Coordinating the procurement of all materials relevant to the project in line with set budgets
- Requesting quotes from and managing sub-contractors relevant to the project
- Preparing and completing all QA/QC documentation for all projects
- Preparing and maintaining Microsoft project schedules and work to tight deadlines and budgets
- Travelling to remote sites on a regular basis to complete project scoping and tender meetings if required to support tendering team
- Working in remote locations as and when required to complete project kick off meetings and execution of projects
- Assisting the tendering team with pricing and developing sound execution methodologies for complex projects
- Being responsible for project delivery, ensuring works are delivered in line with company policies and procedures
- Reading and understanding contractual obligations and ensuring the project is running in line with our contract requirements
- Building and maintaining sound relationships with all client representatives

**ABOUT YOU**
As an experienced and qualified Project Manager or Project Lead, you will ideally have either a Structural/Mechanical or Civil engineering degree, or related trade qualification and at least 3 years hands-on practical experience in managing small to medium sized mining or O&G infrastructure improvement or refurbishment projects.

You will demonstrate exceptional project delivery skills including the ability to prioritise and organise your time effectively, strong communication skills, and a flair for building and developing good relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Your positive mental attitude, and strong work ethic, underpin your ability to adapt to change and provide innovative solutions to our clients.

You enjoy the variety of being both based in Perth and onsite as needed to oversee the delivery of your project.
