**THE OPPORTUNITY**
An exciting newly created role has become available for an** Assistant Buyer** based at **Gepps Cross**. If you’re currently working within a Category or Buying Team in a Buying Administration or Junior Buyer role, we would like to offer you the opportunity to progress your career. You will join a team of highly experienced retail buying professionals who are driving category innovation across our **National Retail Stores.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support Category Managers to deliver product plans, sales goals and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve product performance through problem solving and development of category plans
- Participate in regular category reviews, promotional planning, marketing sessions and pricing meetings
- Support the Store Development team in planogramming and producing the POP guide
- Work closely with marketing to ensure plans are aligned with category plans
***ABOUT YOU**
- Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail
- Proven experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer Administrator
- Ability to multitask and prioritise with a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel and PowerPoint
