**About the Role**

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you’ll be working within a fast-paced team-focused environment within our new Mental Health Unit kitchen. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Customer service
- Setting up, plating and distributing patient meals and beverages
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
- Undertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards
- Dishwashing/pot washing
- Being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants
- Allergy control awareness
- Must be able to complete PART training

**About You**

You are a positive and energetic team player with a passion for culinary preparation and service. You enjoy working as part of a supportive, collaborative team and independently when required.

**Ideally you will also bring**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality environment (desirable)
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus

**R**emuneration**

A base hourly rate ranging from **$27.00 - $29.30** + super based on experience and qualifications.

**Requirements**:
