**HEO5 $82,922 - $92,203 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.**
** Fixed term fulltime position for 13 months (MAT leave cover)**
Working under general direction, the Disability Support Officer will be responsible for provision of high level and customised administrative support for Disability Support.
This role will provide high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for students and staff, offering timely and confidential advice across various communication channels and will support the Disability Support team through student registrations, equipment coordination, and liaison with internal departments.
** To be successful you will need**:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high quality, approachable, efficient and customised service in a cross-cultural and high-volume work environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian tertiary sector and understanding of the issues facing students with particular focus on students with a disability
- Demonstrated capacity to meet competing, and demanding deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and calm demeanour
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating events and projects
- Demonstrated experience in working with a high level of flexibility, with initiative problem solving skills in order to deliver a wide range of functions across a broad remit
