- About the roleAs the Strategic Account Manager for both Zurich and OnePath propositions, you will leverage your exemplary relationship and communication skills to provide market leading relationship management and commercial support to key strategic licensees. Exploring opportunities to further strengthen already strong relationships and strive towards mutually beneficial strategic outcomes that focus on growth and ensure Zurich and OnePath are front of mind for our strategic partners and adding value to our core distribution partners.
As a senior member of the Distribution team, you will work closely with the Head of Strategic Accounts to develop and understand the account plans for each licensee, attend and contribute to both National & State sales meetings, and communicate on key account initiatives and outcomes. In addition, you will support the Regional Managers and BDM’s in the management of their state-based strategic account opportunities.
- Important to your success- Strong experience within a similar account management role in Financial Services, Insurance advantageous.
- An understanding of marketing principles, with experience in product or service management, sales, and business development.
- Strong understanding of the Australian Retail Insurance market, regulatory environment, licensee structures, key players, and industry headwinds necessary.
- Understanding of Zurich products and similar competitor’s products in the marketplace and the structure and positioning of other players in the Financial Services market.
- Understanding of contractual sponsorship terms and limitations along with the ability to negotiate commercial outcomes.
