Houseperson

**SoYa Apartment Hotel** is one of the best reviewed hotels, right in the heart of **South Yarra**. Having started its life as a classic 1960’s apartment, it was given a new lease of life with a full refurbishment in 2018. The rooms are cleverly decorated and equipped exquisitely for any type of stay; corporates, long stays, over-night, romantic getaways, social catch-ups, families and there's even pet friendly options

Currently, we are in search of a **Houseperson** to join us on a full-time basis. Operations run from 24/7, with this role working day and afternoon shifts.

We are firm believers of ‘take care of your employees, and they’ll take care of business’. This is a reason why we believe in upskilling those that may be lacking some experience.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Attend to guest enquiries and requests.
- Delivering linen and amenities to customers upon request.
- Attending to basic maintenance needs within the hotel.
- Assisting with daily cleaning and presentation of rooms and public areas.
- Providing assistance with stock control and inventory.
- Moving of furniture and rollaway beds to guest rooms.
- Motivate and embody the positive and fun culture we have at SoYa.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience is a similar role
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude, who can problem solve and drive excellent with team mates.
- Impeccable interpersonal skills, to make customers and your team feel at home.
- Have a great sense of humour.

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
