**About the role**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the **Forklift Operator **will be responsible for using a pallet jack and forklift to move heavy goods. You will also be responsible for general warehouse duties (stock taking, loading and unloading deliveries, maintenance etc.) and be familiar with warehouse systems to track and manage inventory.

**Forklift Operator duties include, but are not limited to**:

- General receivables/dispatch duties
- Using pallet jack to move heavy goods
- Responsible for the safe operation of forklift to ensuring appropriate handling of all goods
- Manual lifting and moving of stock
- Be responsible for the safe storage of product within company guidelines
- Be responsible for the unloading and loading of trucks
- Be responsible for the unloading and loading of shipping containers
- Keep storage of stock, fixtures, and fittings organised and tidy
- Any other ad hoc tasks that arise at the request of the manager; this may include the need to assist the sales team in store(s) working in.

**About you**
- Must have a current Forklift and driver’s license
- Previous warehouse experience and working knowledge of warehouse inventory system(s)
- Solid understanding and experience with standard warehousing practices
- Initiative to problem solve
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to manage time to ensure all tasks assigned are completed in professional and timely manner
- Team player

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
