**About the Role**

The diagnostic technician will provide support to one of this firm’s key clients, identifying faults in complex electronic equipment. They will need to be meticulous in testing and identifying faulty components at the chip level. Their accurate diagnosis will empower the repair team to resolve the fault. Methodical analysis and documentation will ensure guaranteed quality.

Key Accountabilities:

- Resolve all technical issues related to faulty equipment.
- Diagnose faulty units and determine parts requiring replacement; maintain a log of all replacements.
- Achieve diagnostic targets in line with set company guidelines.
- For difficult repairs, escalate as appropriate; scrap unrepairable units
- Ensure all test equipment is in safe working order and within calibration.
- Arrange for equipment calibration before due dates
- Ensure there is compliance with all Health and Safety legislative requirements.

**About you**:

- 3 + years’ experience in a similar electronics environment
- Proven experience with electronics diagnostic equipment, such as a multimeter
- Working knowledge of RF and microprocessor circuitry
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders using competent written and verbal methods.
- Strong time and priority management ability
