**About the team**

The Service Improvement team leads process management and continuous improvement across professional services and manages complex service improvement projects.

The Team are responsible for UWA Process Hub (Promapp) and support areas to document their processes. They are also responsible for continuing to develop the recently launched Intranet Service Directory which need to clearly communicate to internal customers how to access a service or resource.

The team are dynamic, focused and collaborative and work at a fast pace, often within challenging timelines.

**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the Manager Continuous Improvement, your role will oversee UWA Process Hub and the Service Directory. You will need to be self-directed and able to work independently within broad direction by the Manager.

You will train and mentor staff on how to document processes, procedures and work instructions and what should be clearly communicated to our internal customers through the Service Directory for staff themselves to maintain. You will do this by being confident and being able to build effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure everyone is on board.

You will conduct quality assurance on entries in UWA Process Hub and the Service Directory and be able to suggest alternative copy, and not be afraid to have the difficult conversations with the editors.

You will also play a key role in the establishment, maintenance and improvement of the Continuous Improvement systems and procedures. The role will include administration tasks in both UWA Process Hub and the Service Directory.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will:
Relish the opportunity to work on these new initiatives (Service Directory and UWA Process Hub) and drive the engagement of these across UWA.

Be a logical thinker who can demonstrate that you can develop and clearly communicate step by step instructions and/or processes, with attention to detail.

Have excellent written communication skills to ensure our service information is clear and concise and presentation skills to ensure it can be easily followed.

Be confident to consult and negotiate with internal customers, including discussing any quality assurance concerns which you have.

Be happy to also undertake the administration which is required to support the two systems
