The Opportunity
About the Role
You will provide client centred services relating to financial/ gambling information, support and strategies. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for individuals and families affected by gambling.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience/ Criteria
- Excellent skills in implementing strategies that address gambling harm
- Experience in financial issues associated with Gambling
- Possess demonstrated skills and experience in counselling and client assessment experience
- Evidence of independent practice history and skill in meeting the range of demands of a complex caseload
- Experience and /or competency in delivering community education programs
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues contributing to an individual’s and/or household financial stress / hardship
- Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders in a manner that promotes professionalism of the Program
- WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Be an accredited member of the Financial Counsellors’ Association of NSW (FCAN) OR working towards accreditation
- Hold a current NSW driver’s license
