**Job Description**:
**About this opportunity**
Our SULO Somersby site provides garbage bin repairs. using electronic hand held devices which design routes efficiently, and capture data of jobs completed in real time. This role as the Supervisor involves performing the work and supervising 2 other drivers
The Supervisor is accountable for all matters that affect the field services operation, and is expected to take clear and decisive action, quickly and professionally in accordance with the values and policies of the organisation. Strong support is providing from the close knit team in SULO.
**Main Accountabilities**
- Ensuring the team is working safely and supported with adequate resources to meet WHS needs
- Drive a culture whereby risks are identified, assessed and controlled for all activities in the services area
- Maintain inspection and testing programs for equipment and tools used.
- Instilling a culture whereby non-conforming quality risks are identified, assessed and controlled for all services undertaken.
- Management of relevant contracts to enable successful delivery (eg: bin washing, ASTRON returns) of services to customers
- Manages employee performance and engagement in a team environment.
**Your skills and experience**
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years employment with a background in a logistics or DC operations environment.
- Experience with WHSE work practices
- Experience in logístical/services contracting
- A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products - especially EXCEL
- Proven people management capabilities coupled with supervisory experience and superior communication skills.
- Drivers Licence with a good driving record
Desirable
- Use of hand held electronic devices
- Stock taking and stock usage management
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum educational experience is Year 12.
- Certificate III in Business, logistics and warehousing, or similar field preferred.

The job location is Central Coast, New South Wales.
