Calco Trusses & Timber are an established and growing business based in South Geelong that is looking to continue its expansion by employing a new Pre-Fab Designer. With strong roots within the timber and building industry we source, design, and supply a vast variety of building components for some of Victoria’s largest builders.

Working in a modern professional office space, you’ll be contributing to a challenging but rewarding ‘Design Office’ by assessing and analysing architectural drawings and engineering which will require the use state-of-the-art software in producing accurate and cost-effective pricing as well as construction drawings for manufacture in our factory.

This position is suitable for school leavers looking to forge a career, or those who would like to change career path into a progressive long-term role, with opportunities throughout a large business. Experienced Designers/Detailers are also welcome. Being able to read construction drawings is advantageous, but experience is not necessary.
