About the role and about you:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled **Qualified Arborist** or Horticulturist with a mature mindset to join our team at Treeswest Australia on a permanent full-time basis. Ideally, you’ll be an outcome driven individual that likes to see the tangible differences you can make within the community environment.
This position specialises in the care and maintenance of trees and involves various tasks focused on the health, safety and aesthetics of trees.
**Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Inspect and assess the health and safety of trees
- Perform pruning and removal of trees as required
- Collaborate with your team and community members and local stakeholders to enhance landscapes and green spaces
- Manage tree-related issues including diseases, pests and damage
- Ensure compliance with Work, Health and Safety legislation and safety practices, policy and procedures
- Delivery of customer service
- Assist in the development of skill levels within the team by providing specialist on the job training to other employees as required, and occasional staff supervision
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
- Hort Cert III
- Extensive experience in the safe and efficient operation of chainsaws, trailer mounted wood chippers and elevated work platforms (EWP)
- Knowledge of tree felling and tree pruning techniques
- MR Class Motor Vehicle Licence (min)
- White Card
- ESI
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate
**About working with us**
**The salary** for this position will be from $73,150 + Superannuation per annum depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
