**Job Description**:

- Run remote team in the Pilbara region and actively be sampling of water, waste water and solids sampling for shipment to SGS facilities in Perth.
- Meet customer expectations on routine and ad hoc or event sampling requirements where required.
- Available for a 8/6 roster, from Thursday to Thursday FIFO position to Newman.
- Train and mentor junior staff in relation to sampling and safety techniques and procedures.
- Perform maintenance and calibration of sampling equipment.
- Maintain records and reporting of field data ensuring it is accurate and current.
- Perform daily inspection of SGS vehicles according to Vehicle Pre Start Inspections procedural guidelines.
- Organise packaging and freighting of samples for laboratory analysis.
- Drive long distances between sites as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree Qualifications in Chemical, Environmental Science or other relevant fields.
- Extensive field sampling experience.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
- WA C Class Drivers License.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
