McLean Farms is seeking a proactive and committed WHS Assistant to support the implementation of WHS initiatives across our sites. **About the Role**
As our WHS Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safety strategy and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements across all McLean Farms locations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting WHS systems and culture, including implementation of safety initiatives.
- Providing technical advice and training on WHS legislation and internal processes.
- Conducting regular site visits, audits, and inspections.
- Assisting with incident investigations, corrective actions, and closeouts.
- Supporting Return to Work (RTW) programs and WorkCover-related tasks.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of WHS documentation and site-specific procedures.
- Engaging with teams and leading safety discussions and initiatives.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (or working towards) is essential.
- Cert IV in training and assessment is desired but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and codes.
- Experience with safety audits, incident investigation, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- A current Class “C” driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- A collaborative approach and a passion for building a positive safety culture.
