**Full-Time Pharmacy Technician - Aged Care Team (Immediate Start)**

**Location**: Pharmacy for Life, Wurtulla
**Start Date**: Within 2 weeks (ideally 17/11/25)
**Hours**: Monday to Friday
**No weekends. No public holidays. Just great teamwork. About the Role**

Join our passionate **Aged Care Team** and play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and timely medication supply to local nursing homes. This is a **hands-on, full-time position** focused on **processing daily aged care orders** — ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, great organisation, and a genuine interest in helping others.You’ll work alongside our pharmacists and technicians, following our **Aged Care Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** to ensure every order meets our high standards of care.

**Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Order Management**
- Process and dispense daily aged care medication orders with precision and care
- Coordinate with pharmacists to handle changes, urgent requests, and interim rolls
- Ensure compliance with PBS, S8 management, and documentation standards
- Maintain workflow accuracy in Z Dispense and associated pharmacy software

**Stock & Workflow Coordination**
- Review medication stock and expiry dates for aged care orders
- Assist in managing ward stock and facility-specific medication needs
- Prepare documentation and packaging for deliveries
- Work efficiently to meet strict facility cut-off times

**Teamwork & Quality Focus**
- Collaborate with our experienced aged care pharmacists and techs
- Uphold accuracy, accountability, and patient safety at all times
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and innovation in our aged care division

**Qualifications & Skills** Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience in pharmacy or aged care medication management (advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Confident using pharmacy technology (Z Dispense experience ideal but not essential)
