**About the role**
This well-established Qld owned, and operated business has recently consolidated, recalibrated and are well poised for future growth and a healthy pipeline of projects. Their brand is synonymous with quality and they have designed and built a number of well-known commercial and industrial projects across SEQ.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Finance Officer to join this busy finance team on a one-month contract. Reporting to the Company Accountant, this role has a broad responsibility to support the finance team across all transactional areas and other members of the Executive team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable - invoice processing, account statements, reconciliations, payments, maintenance of files and records, stores and suppliers’ enquiries, credit card processing and reconciliations;
- Data entry for payroll related transactions;
- Assisting with calculation of Payroll Tax, PAYG and Workers Compensation;
- Dealing with pay related queries and issues and running payroll reporting as required; plus
- Ad-hoc duties as required by supervising manager.
**About YOU**
- Experienced Finance all-rounder with several years in a commercial environment and 3+ years dedicated payroll experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Proficient in using CHEOPS and excellent Excel skills are highly desired
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative and take responsibility
