Victoria Legal Aid is seeking an experienced Research and Evaluation Manager to lead a dynamic team focused on translating evidence into real-world impact.
- ** Full time ongoing position**:
- **Salary range: $123,625 - $157,340 plus super plus salary packaging**
- **Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model**
**About the role**
In this role, you will oversee research and evaluation projects that not only generate insights but also play a key role in shaping organisational practice and decision-making.
With a strong focus on collaboration, you will ensure that research outcomes are communicated effectively, building engagement across the organisation and supporting continuous improvement in our services. This is an opportunity to use your expertise to lead a team where research doesn't just inform — it transforms.
- This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country._
**About you**
- Have demonstrated experience in managing a research and/or evaluation function.
- Have highly developed research and/or evaluation experience and proven ability to influence and consult widely to identify and understand emerging issues, policy agendas, trends and risks.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with people across all levels of the organisation and engage and build collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualification in law, social science, education or equivalent (mandatory).
