Your new Company
An opportunity with a State Government Department for a Surveyor in a long-term contract for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension based in Maroochydore.

Maximum of 40 hours per week between 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday - No weekends.

Your new role
The focus of your role will be to manage multiple engineering surveying projects through all phases of the project cycle to ensure services meet all objectives.

Responsibilities include:

- Working with relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
- Maintaining and utilising current knowledge and engineering surveying standards.
- Ensuring quality aspects of the projects are identified and addresses.
- Managing the timeliness and cost effectiveness of project specific services.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of a 3-year degree from a Tertiary Institute in spatial Science, Surveying, GIS, or an equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institute is mandatory for this position.
- A current Class ‘C’ Drivers Licence
