As a Retail Store Designer, you will be responsible for the conceptualisation, design, and execution of retail store layouts and interior designs for new and existing locations. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, operations, and retail teams to create spaces that not only enhance the customer experience but also align with our brand identity and sales objectives.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Store design and layout, including zoning for varied product categories.
- Ensure brand consistency aligns with Stratco’s overall brand identity and aesthetic.
- Select materials, finishes, colours fixtures and lighting that enhance the customer experience and reflect the brand’s characteristics.
- Focus on creating an intuitive shopping experience, enabling customers to navigate the store, find products and engage with Stratco’s brand.
- Ensure sustainability and innovation by incorporating eco-friendly materials, work with technology teams to integrate digital tools such as interactive kiosks, and create flexible/modular store layouts that can be adjusted to seasonal changes, promotions or product launches.
- Ensure designs are compliant with building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.

**About you**:
For this sought after opportunity, we are targeting a contemporary thinker, and a passionate and creative individual that can demonstrate:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2- 3 years of experience in retail store design, house building or interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
- Experience &/or a solid understanding of council planning & development approvals procedures
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, etc.).
- An understanding of retail customer behaviours, spatial planning, and visual merchandising principles.
- A passion for creating visually striking, functional, stylish, and customer-centric retail environments.
