The Salvation Army Employment Plus is currently going through an exciting time as we commence the new Workforce Australia contract.

Due to our program’s ongoing success and our need for expansion, we are looking for an energetic PPS (Post Placement Support) Consultant with experience in building lasting relationships with stakeholders to join our team.

About the role:
Contribute to the success of Employment Plus by providing Post Placement Support (PPS) to ensure that participants are retained in employment. In this role, you will:

- Proactively build and maintain effective relationships with Participants, Employers and Community Organisations
- Identify any barriers that may impact upon ongoing employment and address them promptly
- Monitor work placements for participants towards the achievement of monthly targets

About you:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in cold calling and speaking with clients to gain vacancies
- Demonstrated experience in proactive business development and relationship management
- You are a confident and trustworthy self-starter who thrives on the opportunity to achieve meaningful results and problem solve
- The ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPI’s and targets
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
- Previous experience in Employment Services, Sales, Recruitment or like industries is highly advantageous

A current NSW Working with Children Check and ACT Working with Vulnerable People Check are both mandatory requirements for this position. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
