Based in the manufacturing facility in Acacia Ridge, you will be responsible for operating the warehouse and assisting with the manufacturing of **optical fibre cable solutions**. With full time hours, Monday to Friday you will be:

- Responsible for building different inventory components used for Optical Fibre Cable installation.
- Effectively maintain the workshop area effectively, ensuring efficient manufacturing of components and meticulous upkeep of stock level.
- Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure stock is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in maintenance of the warehouse grounds where required.
- Be familiar with metal components i.e able to assemble medium sized boxes using a instruction set.
- Assembly experience and an understanding of technical drawings

**About you**:You are a self-starter who takes initiative to complete tasks to a high standard. You are a team player who is willing to help where required and you can achieve results to deadlines. Ideally you will have previous experience in warehousing and production and manufacturing processes.

**Essential skills**
- Previous experience using hand tools and power tools
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings
- Outstanding attention to detail and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness.
- The ability to achieve results of a high quality through to deadlines
- Currently hold a manual Australian Driver's License
- A basic level of competency with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- The right to work in Australia with no restrictions

**Desirable, however not essential to apply**
- Previous electrical and / or mechanical experience would be beneficial.
- Forklift license
