Momentum Collective is a registered charity and not-for-profit community services organisation creating inclusive opportunities and positive outcomes. We have a proud 40-year track record operating in a suite of services including disability accommodation and support, mental health, homelessness, community housing, family and domestic violence, child family and community services.

We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in Tweed Heads. As a valuable member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support to individuals within the community.

What we are looking for:

- Cert III Individual Support and / or proven experience in providing support to individuals within a community or assisted living setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, their families, and other support networks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility
- Understanding of person-centred approaches to support individuals in achieving their personal goals and aspirations
- Knowledge of local community resources and the ability to connect clients with relevant services and activities
- Strong organisational skills to manage caseloads, maintain accurate documentation, and report on client progress
- Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with individuals facing challenges or experiencing vulnerability
- An awareness of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the community services sector
- Certification or willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification and a valid driver's licence
- Fully vaccinated for COVID19
