Location: Karawara, Western Australia
Salary range: $84,766 - $88,783
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
- Valid Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and First Aid certifications, or a willingness to obtain them.
- A positive, professional demeanour and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience as an inspiring team player and role model.
- Demonstrated experience in organising, managing, and conducting activities within childcare settings.
- A minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role or closely related field.
- Relevant qualifications, including at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Undertake the leadership and management of the EYLF and NQS at centre level.
- Accurately maintain individual records for each child, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and complete.
- Adhere to and enforce the Centre’s policies and procedures, prioritising a safe, supportive atmosphere for children.
- Provide mentoring, guidance and oversight to educators, fostering professional development and ensuring quality standards.
- Establish and uphold a secure and welcoming environment for children, families, staff, and visitors.
- Consistently uphold high standards of health and safety, monitoring and managing compliance with all relevant guidelines.
- Ensure the centre meets all State Legislation requirements and National Quality Standards.
- Cultivate respectful, reciprocal relationships with children, parents and families, community, and all team members.
- Manage administrative responsibilities efficiently and effectively, as needed.
