Learning & Development Lead - Soft Skills

WISE Employment is seeking a motivated Learning and Development (L&D) Lead - Soft Skills.
Your new role will see you take a lead within the L&D team, focusing on designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs aimed at enhancing the soft skills of WISE team members. You will work closely with all WISE divisions and other stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs and initiatives, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation, supporting employees' growth, engagement, and overall performance.

**To be considered for this role**
- You will have experience with the DES or WFA contract (essential)
- You have full Australian working rights
- You hold a full Australian driver’s license
- You are willing to obtain a National Police Check
- You are able to pass a Working with Children Check
- You are willing to travel across the State, and nationally

**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in Employment Services.
- Exceptional facilitation and public speaking skills.
- A strong understanding of adult learning principles and leadership development practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.
- High levels of professionalism and integrity.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning author tools (eg. Articulate360)
- Proficiency in using digital and online learning platforms and content creation software.
- Ability to understand WISE best practice service delivery and train others on this.
- A sound knowledge of training methodologies.
- Ability to travel to all WISE offices nationally.
- Ability to coach staff with a range of skills, expertise and experience.
- Strong report writing and record keeping skills
- A sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
- A commitment and ability to drive personal learning and development
- Professionalism in business dealings and outlook including personal presentation and communication, dependability, willingness to following instructions and a strong work ethic.
