At **Tweed Mazda**, we're looking for an experienced and passionate **Workshop Controller** or **Senior Technician** to join our thriving team in **Tweed Heads**. This role has become available following an internal promotion, and we're eager to find someone who can take charge and support our talented crew.

**About the Role**:

- Lead and coordinate a dynamic team to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction
- Mentor and guide apprentices, fostering their growth and skill development
- Prioritize and manage repair orders, ensuring timely completion and smooth communication with the frontline team
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and assist with hands-on problem-solving
- Suggest additional work that is needed to the Service Adviser Team so the customer can be notified
- Ensure all repairs comply with warranty requirements and maintain communication with the OEM
- Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness, tool management, and safety practices
- Handle repeat repairs with precision, ensuring long-term fixes and preventing comebacks

**About you**:

- Relevant vehicle trade qualifications, including a NSW trade license
- Previous workshop controller experience is highly preferred
- Current driver’s license (essential)
- Mazda experience is a bonus, but not a must
- A positive, can-do attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures and manage technical challenges
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
