Low Loader Driver

Egans Group is a privately owned company operating Australia-wide for over 50 years providing plant and labour hire solutions on a variety of projects in the mining, construction, and civil infrastructure. With a commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service, we are seeking **experienced Float Drivers** to join our team immediately in **Crestmead, QLD**.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Current Australian HC or MC licence with clean driving record**:

- **Minimum 2 years' experience transporting construction machinery** (highly regarded)
- **Experience with low loader and dolly combinations** (highly regarded)
- **Clear Understanding of NHVR and fatigue management regulation**(highly regarded)
- **Previous experience in the heavy haulage industry**(preferred)
- **White Card**:

- **Knowledge and understanding of Chain of Responsibility legislation**:

- Strong **customer service skills**:

- **Positive, can-do attitude**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Loading and unloading earthmoving machinery** securely and efficiently
- **Local and interstate travel** for machinery transport
- **Load restraint** using dogs, chains, and binders
- **Comply with NHVR and fatigue management requirements** for safety and regulatory standards
- **Work collaboratively** as part of a professional team
- **Follow company policies and procedures**:

- Keep the vehicle **neat and tidy**:

- **Ensure all documentation** (company and client) is completed and presented to operations staff daily
- Availability to work at least **two Saturdays per month**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 50 per week
