Dental Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly experience dental assistant to join our team in Byford, 6122. This role is best suited to someone reliable and highly motivated.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Assist chair-side during dental procedures.
- Prepare facilities (room) and patients for dental procedures
- Sound working knowledge of current infection control techniques, sterilisation and instrument re-processing and tracking protocols.
- Paperless charting and record keeping.
- Answering telephone calls & enquiries
- Booking appointments, processing accounts when required
- Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have at least 1 year’s dental assisting experience
- Demonstrated initiative, ability to multi-task.
- Have excellent communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
- Compassionate, caring and understanding
- Exceptional infection control standards
- Work well as a team as well as independently
- Be open to learning and improving themselves constantly
- Knowledge of Dental 4 Windows

Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Byford, WA 6122: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
