**About Redcliffe Hospital**

Redcliffe Hospital ED is a mixed paediatric and adult urban district ED that sees more than 65,000 patients a year, of which more than 20% are paediatric. The department is accredited for 36 months of ED training, as well as for the paediatric logbook and a new construction is currently underway for a dedicated paediatric department. We have a group of more than 20 FACEMS and 23 registrar positions.

Redcliffe hospital is in the northern seaside suburb of Redcliffe, an easy commute from central Brisbane. We have a dedicated group of FACEMs to create a supportive environment, and there is a strong support for education with protected Thursday afternoon registrar teaching, primary exam teaching program, fellowship exam teaching program, and an on-site simulation and skills centre.

**Role Description**
- Develop and broaden skills in emergency point-of-care ultrasound, focusing on image acquisition and optimisation
- Contribute to the continual enhancement of ultrasound education and research
- Have appropriate level of knowledge and skills in the speciality of emergency
medicine
- Assessment of patients, analysis of information and formulation of appropriate
investigation and treatment plans
- Maintenance of accurate and timely medical records
- Tailored communication skills and professional collegiality with all staff
- Working synergistically within a team environment
- Culturally appropriate and maintenance of a high-standard ethical behaviour
- Demonstrate leadership, supervision, and education of junior staff
- Patient advocacy

**Remuneration**
- $4,458.40 - $5,169.20 per fortnight, pro-rata and depending on level of experience and qualification (L4 - L9)
- Leave entitlements as per MOCA-5, including recreation leave and professional
