As the successful applicant, you will be working as a Orchard Hand within the Agrikal team reporting to the Farm Manager and working closely with our Assistant Farm Manager & Technical Officer.

Position is Full Time

**Role Includes**:

- undertakes planting using hand tools and farm machines
- operates machines to cultivate, fertilise, spray and harvest fruit
- sprays trees and other plants with chemicals to control weeds, insects, fungus growth and diseases
- thins, weeds and hoes row crops, and prunes trees
- irrigates land for crop growth
- selects and picks fruit according to size and ripeness, and discards rotting and over-ripened produce
- grades, sorts and packs produce into containers
- loads filled fruit containers onto trucks.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Flexibility with early starts or late finishes
- Availability for weekend work as required
- Ability to work within a team

**Must have**:

- **Drivers Licence**
