**About the role**:
The Branch Supervisor **(based in Cannington)** supervises the day-to-day operations of a small branch in a safe manner. The role has a strong focus on ensuring compliance across general branch operation policies and practices and importantly, ensuring all branch staff always display exceptional customer service to achieve and contribute to the area revenue, area fleet utilisation and customer loyalty and other branch KPI’s. The Branch Supervisor also plays an important role in the training and development of new and/or developing staff within the branch. The role will supervise a small team compromising of staff who perform either customer fulfilment or equipment run up duties.

**A day in the life of a Coates Branch Supervisor**:

- Ensure effective branch operations relating to equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, coordinate repairs, changeovers, breakdowns and contribute to effectiveness of the Area operations for equipment utilisation
- Supervise team to the Coates customer service standards and developing staff in the branch, run daily pre-start meetings and site inductions as required
- Supervise the operation of all branch administration and systems requirements including the preparation of timely reports in accordance with company guidelines including record keeping
- Work with Area manager to review stock levels in branch and maintain optimum stock levels for effective operation
- Always look for ways to continually improve the performance of the branch and assist with any auditing as required

**About you**:
Ideally you will have experience in a similar position, where your diverse leadership skills have engaged teams to perform at their best, including:

- Supervisor experience in a branch setting leading a team
- Knowledge of construction equipment and tooling desirable.
- Strong commitment and experience to delivering exceptional customer service
- Willingness to operate forklift for load and unload activities (current forklift licence desirable but not essential)
- Monitor and action administration reports.
