Today the Central Coast is one of the fastest growing regions in NSW, with the third largest Local Government Area (LGA) in NSW and the 6th Largest LGA in Australia.

**'Current members need not apply'**

Council regularly asks the community to help us strategically plan for the future of the Local Government Area and this is completed through a range of advisory groups and committees.

From time to time there may be committees to address specific issues and Council will publicly call for nominations for these groups.

Central Coast Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced people to be appointed as community stakeholders on the Aboriginal Advisory Committee.

**_ Key activities of the role include:_**
- attendance at meetings, in person or Online
- willingness to participate in onboarding activities, for example Code of Conduct training
- availability to attend quarterly meetings (4 per calendar year).

Membership of the Aboriginal Advisory Committees will be on a volunteer basis and no fee or costs will be paid to community stakeholder members.
