Live-in Nanny

**Our Family**:

- We are a warm, considerate and easy to get along with family of 4, including myself, husband and our 2 boys aged 4 years and 6 months old seeking a live-in nanny from February 2025. My husband and I both work in healthcare, although I am currently on maternity leave. We are requiring support caring for our 2 children and at home while I recover from a birth injury, alongside my husband working long hours. What we can offer: - Accomodation in a spacious, new home a few km to the beach and 15km to the CBD - Large private furnished bedroom, ensuite bathroom and WIR - Warm, considerate family and calm home environment - Children who are a pleasure to be around (happy, gentle, kind, and funny little people) - Family experienced at having full time nanny's - Guaranteed 2 days off per week, plus time to yourself for 2-3 days pw during school hours - Weekly pay

**Your Duties**:

- Approx 35-40 hours per week, across Monday-Friday and some weekends. I will be home most of the time. Our eldest attends preschool 3 days per week. The role primarily includes playing with the children and general assistance caring for them. This may include: - Help getting the children up and ready for the day in the morning - Help at meal times - Help with bath time - Help with naps and bedtimes - Contributing to cooking family meals and/or meal prep some days - Caring for one or both children while I attend appointments, or spend 1:1 time with the other child - Caring for the baby while I do preschool drop off and pickup, or accompanying us - Help keeping the house clean and tidy day-to-day - Possibility of caring for child/children a few hours pw if I choose to re-engage in work (likely from home), although we're open to hiring additional supports for this if needed if/when the time comes

- Our ideal caregiver is someone who is responsible, reliable, trustworthy, clean & tidy, considerate, compassionate, and patient. Additionally, - Experience caring for children of similar ages - References from previous caregiving experiences - Strong English skills - Non-smoker - Fully vaccinated - First aid training Due to my husbands variable and sometimes unpredictable work schedule some flexibility in the hours worked each week needed. However we will always do our best to provide as much advance notice as possible and any additional hours will be remunerated. Our parenting approach draws on emotion coaching delivered with gentleness and compassion while setting and holding necessary boundaries. It is important that you are aligned with this approach.
