**Job location**
Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria.
Forensicare is situated across five sites across Victoria with its largest site being Thomas Embling Hospital,?located in Fairfield?just 15 minutes north of the Melbourne city centre.?Thomas Embling Hospital is a 136-bed secure hospital providing acute care, rehabilitation and continuing care programs. It includes a dedicated women’s unit.
**About the Role**:
- Ability to develop and implement a Strategic Plan to engaged families and carers
- Ability to understand the needs of Carers, Families and supporters within All Forensicares service delivery
- An understanding of the co-design framework and alignment with Forensicares Model Of Care
- Good coomunication skills with all key stakeholders.
**Duties**:
- Engage and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders across all stages of the project
- Co-design a plan for carer and family engagement in the Prisons Services and Community Forensic Mental Health Services
- Co-design and trial a concierge service for families and carers at Thomas Embling Hospital
**About You**:
- Knowledge and understanding of issues facing carers and families in the mental health and criminal justice systems
- Demonstrated experience in planning and project management in a health-related sector
- Demonstated ability to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative working and / or co-design

Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of three COVID-19 Vaccination prior to commencing work at Forensicare.
